Longreach & Winton Experience

Longreach is in the geographical heart of Queensland. There are some fascinating things to see and do in this part of the world – a region that attracted bush and pioneers like the early post world war one pilots who formed the Queensland and Northern Territory Arial Services, QANTAS. It also the home the famous Stockman’s Hall of Fame, Large Stations & The Thompson River.

Winton has a rich history as the birthplace of Banjo Patterson’s “Waltzing Matilda” but is just as well known today for something far more ancient, DINOSAURS!  We visit the award winning “Age of Dinosaurs” Museum.

Tour starts and completes in Brisbane.
